For years I had thought about being able to bring my children on the Polar Express train. My sister had gone every year with her in-laws and always said how much fun they’d had. The holiday season always seems to come and go so quick and going on the Polar Express train one of those things you really have to plan for in advance. Well, this year, they were finally old enough and just before Halloween, I was ready! I booked the tickets and I had been counting down the days ever since. After checking various train schedules and trying to figure out what would work best for all involved who wanted to go, we decided on the Woonsocket, Rhode Island train. Most adorable train station ever! (As you can see!) We were warmly greeted by Frosty who was only too excited to take photos with all and welcome the children and families onto the train. Watching all the kids dressed in their jammies and excited about going onto the train was the perfect festive event for us in this busy hustle and bustle season. SUPER happy people who obviously love their job. Polar Express EXCLUSIVE toys available! And very nice architecture inside the train station!TONS of places to take photos of your children. Mine were like ‘Can you believe she’s making us sit on this thing?’ hehehe!I found Santa’s *other* sleigh in the parking lot. Turns out we have the same taste in vehicles! I used to have an HHR too!All aboard!Tickets please!Happy faces!Peyton loved looking out the window… Hot hot!!! HOT CHOCOLATE!And COOKIES TOO!And there he was! Santa! The first gift of Christmas was given to all children on the Polar Express. The train came to a hault, and Peyton said (very loudly I might add) ‘It’s a CARIBOU CROSSING!’ hahahaha!Everyone got their tickets punched!Peyton loved the 12 days of Christmas when these guys sung it!Annnddd he hasn’t put his ticket down since.Family pic!We had such a great time.
