I was first introduced to Melissa + Derek through her mom, Karen, who I work with. After I sent all my wedding collection information over to Karen, and it wasn’t long until Melissa was in touch. When I met her and Derek we hit it off immediately. Melissa is an interior designer, so of course we have similar brains and ways of looking at things. Derek is a kind and hard working guy, who adores Melissa whole heartedly. Together they are fun loving, laugh a lot, and complement each other perfectly. It’s no wonder why these two are together. 🙂

During their session, we took a little field trip around Mount Holyoke College, and ended at the South Hadley Fish Lift. It was a fun adventure! By the time we were finished shooting, I had laughed so hard my cheeks hurt! They were so natural in front of the camera, but its easy when you’re as in love as these two. 🙂
