There’s nothing like Spring in New England. I knew we were getting close when last week I started to hear the birds outside my house around 4:30 in the morning. Although I’m sure that by August I will just pray that they’ll stop, for now, it means new beginnings, tulips, and a life beyond the walls of our home.

On this unseasonably warm Sunday, we were fortunate enough to attend a birthday party for some little friends of Peyton and Avery at the Holyoke Merry Go Round. You can check it out here. Loved the location and I would LOVE to be able to do a Spark Session here – all I kept thinking about on my way in. It’s most definitely a local treasure, I had never been but had always wanted to. In a way, it kinda felt like our spring ‘opening day’ and acted as a perfect segway to welcome all things fresh and new. Just a shore little blip of fun days to come as the warm weather approaches. Although we spent a lot of time chasing children (what else in new…) we managed to get out, spend some time with friends, and also snap a few fun family shots as well.

 

If I could have bottled up this afternoon and saved it forever I would have. It was perfect. With a busy season of many different sessions and weddings approaching, I will take every moment I can get with my family.
