When I was a child my father had great pride in the Easter Egg hunt. He’d hide them all over the house, some inside, some out. For me it was quite the adventure. I always loved puzzles so for me, this was exactly that and in the end you’d get a surprise inside the plastic eggs. My father had a sense of humor though. Most times children would get eggs filled with candy. But not in my family. My father would put things like baby dill pickles, or baby carrots, or black olives in our eggs. What was even more enjoyable was when I got older I got to watch him host the hunt for my younger cousins. Each year has become even more funny than the last.
Although I didn’t host this for my own children this year, I have a feeling I won’t be able to resist next Easter. We DID have a small egg hunt, which they really enjoyed.
Hey! What are all those eggs doing on the floor?!
Is this where we put the eggs?Hey! There’s something over there! She’s a curious little one… 🙂
