Too many times I have things happen that are funny, interesting, or just life moments that I want to share. As much as I love social media, I like when I can actually POST some words about the images and circumstances surrounding it – mostly when the images create a narrative. Most times its a personal one – unrelated to work itself. But still, things I like to share.

So here goes. My first ever series. ‘The iPhone Diaries’.

Funny story about this. Eric took the kids to his parents house for overnight on a day that I had to shoot a wedding. They left at maybe 11 and I didn’t have to leave my house until 3:30. I can NOT remember the last time I had a day to myself in the house. It’s oddly silent. I painted my nails in peace (four coats worth!) I made myself a liesurely omelet with mushroom, chives, and cheese. I watched Game of Thrones so now I am all caught up from last season. I packed my bags, AND did some editing from my last wedding.

I called Eric and thanked him – even though he doesn’t think he did anything. Its such an amazing feeling to have a partial day all to myself at home. I can’t even describe it. So here’s a little glimpse of what 4.5 hours of free time gets THIS mama

I could get used to this… but not THAT used to it… 🙂
