I don’t know if spring is in the air, but I have been taking time to take care of me lately. Between the bridal fair in January, then meeting with so many different couples, the trip down south, I just feel like I haven’t stopped! I looked in the mirror a few weeks back and thought -wow! You need a haircut, some new clothes, and some sleep – which we all know I won’t get more of for a while, but that’s okay. I’ll take the first few things in any capacity! So per Eric’s encouragement I went full on new glasses (Regular AND sun!) which I love! Got a few new shirts that are comfortable and mom-friendly but still fashionable and got my hair done. (My hairdresser was SO proud of me! :)) I’m finally feeling like I can wear earnings and jewelry without Avery trying to remove them from my body by any means possible, which is adding to the whole Shania ‘Man, I feel like a woman’ theme I have going on. Mom and I have been busting out the Zumba and Jillian Michaels DVD’s, and the kids are even joining in! The windows are open, the music is playing, and clearly spring has sprung in the Kemp house! I hope you can embrace new beginnings as much as we have been!
