When Lindsey + Jon said they wanted to do their Speak Session in New York City, I was totally up for the adventure! Its not every day I get to shoot in the city, so on a (VERY) warm spring day Kyle and I made the trip down on Amtrak.If you haven’t gone that way, you totally should! We took the train right from Springfield, and theres even wifi! (Don’t forget your charger like I did!)

It was the FIRST super warm day in the city, and everyone was out and enjoying the sun. There was a light breeze off the water at Battery Park which gave Lindsey’s hair some fun movement, and added to the romantic feel of this spring session. In all the times I’ve been to New York I hadn’t experienced it quite this way. Being in the heart of New York City with a couple who is in love, and call it home, offered me a new way to appreciate my surroundings. The architecture, the life, and spirit of the people was all so engaging. There was something interesting to shoot every step of the way, and how can you compete with the Statue of Liberty.
