Kara + Brad | Married | Springfield, Massachusetts

Kara + Brad are a fun loving couple, who find humor in everything. With Brad’s affinity for Photography, and Kara’s quick wit humor, I knew that we were the perfect match for one another! After doing their Spark Session, I knew that their wedding would be filled with laughter and happiness. The sun was shining and offered a beautiful backdrop for these two to exchange vows. Working with both of their families was so easy. They were all such wonderful people, who were kind and accommodating, offering Tiffany and I any help that we needed. When I get to work with families like that, it makes the day all that more smooth and enjoyable, enabling us to document the day is an simple and and stress free way.

These two chose Holy Cross Church for their ceremony. After a long walk down the isle with her father, Brad took Kara’s hand and from then on, a smile never left either of their faces the rest of the day. After a lovely ceremony and some family photos outside the church, we headed over to Forest Park to take some bridal party portraits. These two had a great crew who were up for anything, and ready to celebrate this wonderful duo.

Guests danced the night away at the Munich Haus, and enjoyed some of Kara + Brad’s favorite beers. These two were introduced and were quick to dazzle all their guests with a choreographed first dance. With friends and family cheering on Brad spin Kara around the floor, and literally swept her off her feet! It was quite the sight to see, and even more wonderful to photograph. While dinner was served guests took to the dance floor for a classic leg kick rendition of New York, New York by Frank Sinatra. A moment that was enjoyed by even the youngest family members, and had everyone off their feet and singing. Of all the great aspects of their day I think I laughed the hardest during their cake cutting. In classic Kara + Brad fashion, they playfully shoved cake in one another’s faces, and snuggled sweetly afterwards over a beer, resulting in some of my most favorite intimate candids of the two from the day. We finished their photos off with a few shots in front of the Munich Haus, culminating with the perfect ending to an amazing day!

Here are my favorites from their wonderful day!

I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with you both. You’re incredible and make me love what I do that much more! CONGRATULATIONS!
