I first met Eilean + Ryan through a referral, and when they told me about their wedding which was going to be held at The Trapp Family Lodge I was so excited! You may remember their Spark Session at Mt Tom with their pups! Was a fun and whimsical (windy!) day. On top of having such an authentic Vermont experience, what I will always remember about their wedding was that it was on my birthday! Stowe is such a wonderful place, and the Von Trapp Lodge has so many awesome things to do! Did I mention they chose their wedding the weekend of the Von Trapp Brew Fest?! How could anyone not have a great time?!

Eilean + Ryan’s sense of adventure served them well in the amazing mountains where this wedding day love story unfolds.  All the details they had chosen were done with fall and Vermont in mind. The pops of purples against the oranges offered the perfect contrast. Couple that with the soft blue tones of the mountains silhouetted in the background, and you have a story that comes alive with the sound of music. The sun shined down on these two during their vows. The mountains were illuminated, and mother nature was smiling down. It was such a special moment. To see these two celebrate with friends and dance the night away to The Gaslight Tinkers was an extra special treat. The night was topped off with s’mores and a fire.
