What an amazing time we had photographing Caitlyn + Evan’s love story! With so much uncertainty surrounding COVID and many couples having to cancel or reschedule their weddings, these two decided to plan a backyard wedding that was anything but! Their special day took place at Evan’s childhood home, which was complete with a beautiful pond and willow trees in the back of their property. They even have Herons and Swans who call it home. What a wonderful experience it must have been to grow up with those neighbors! When we arrived saw all the beautiful details these two families had come together to design, we were blown away. What we saw was the most elegant setting, which was the perfect backdrop for this love story!

Throughout their day, there was joy, laughter, and happiness. Hardly any tears because after all the stress and planning, the day had FINALLY arrived! As you will see, everything was perfect. There were even some fun cameos from their Goldendoodle Quincy! Their stunning mini cake (Good idea Mom!) was a beautiful piece of art, and the cardboard cut out of their absent bridesmaid kept us giggling all day. I couldn’t have planned this hydrangea palette wedding day better myself, and feel honored that you chose us to document it for you!

And I did it all with a broken ankle. (Thank god for Kyle and Eric!)
