2025 was a big year for me in a variety of ways. Professionally I had such wonderfully kind couples and adventures with both new and returning clients. I captured love stories that filled my heart with joy, and my soul with gratitude. In an age where our market is saturated and a photographer seems to pop up every minute of every day, I am beyond thankful for all who chose me to document their special memories. It is not lost on me or my family, and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 🤍

Some of the bigger personal challenges I experienced were leaving the Graphic Design & Visual Communications Vocational Classroom after 19 years to assume my new role as the Academic and Career & Technical Education Coordinator at CCHS. I also navigated a Spinal Laminectomy, my second within a year. The surgery was successful, and my doctor was able to eradicate Spinal Stenosis, which caused lower extremity paralysis, debilitating pain, and wide spread numbness. Those two events consumed much of my life beyond photography, and I am happy to say I have settled into my new job nicely and my health is on the right track. ☺️

As I move into 2026 I welcome it with open arms and an open heart. I want to thank all of my dear friends and beloved family who showed up when I needed them most. Who are always there through thick and thin with an ear, a laugh, or a tissue. I took note of who didn’t match my effort in friendship and professional relationships, and shifted my focus to those who have. I walk into the sunlight with peace in my heart and optimism for the year ahead. I pray that everyone has a year of good health, love and laughter. Life is fleeting. Make it count with those you hold dear.

When Sami told me she wanted to do her Engagement Session at @themountlenox I was so excited to do a snow session. Most cliens opt to do their engagement session in warm weather, but I loved the idea of being able to do something different. The Mount reminded me of where Cameron Diaz and Jude Law had their first official date in The Holiday, one of my favorite Christmas Movies.☺️ It was the perfect spot for some romantic portraits and unique settings in their Nightwood Exhibition! So glad I get to be their wedding photographer and so happy my cousin @noahsalmon connected us. 🤍✨🍾🥂

Our last big wedding of the year was filled with belly laughs, happy tears, and the most fun energy we saw all season. @beccarumpf12 + Brad had the most iconic fall weather, and that view of the foliage at @logcabindelaney was 🤌🏻 as always. Their happiness was magnetic and our faces hurt from laughing when we left that evening. We are so happy we were chosen to be your photographers! We only hope we did your love story justice. How I loved photographing these two. It felt like just last year that I took J’s senior portraits and here she is! All grown up and she’s found her person. Their session was so fun and lighthearted, and their connection and affection came through on camera so beautifully. I’m so happy for you J and so glad I got to meet C! We had the BEST day celebrating Kassandra + Nate at @innonboltwood . These two graduated from Amherst College and when it came to choosing a wedding venue, it was a very easy decision for them to make. Not only did we take photos on the gorgeous grounds of the Inn, but we were able to take some portraits on campus as well! Couple that with a team of wonderful vendors and a perfect New England fall day, we couldn’t ask for anything more. We had so much fun with you both and are so happy you chose us to document your wedding day. We wish you all the best and a lifetime of happiness together. Cheers! 🥂

What an awesome day we had in Boston with Sam + John last week! From the cozy chapel, beautiful fall foliage, and the fun bridal party and trolley, everything about their day was so much fun to photograph. Our favorite part by far was when they asked to stop by the park where they got engaged for a few quick photos on our way to the reception. What we found was a beautiful nature preserve that made you believe you were in the Berkshires, not Boston. We feel so fortunate that you chose us to document your love story. Wishing you all the best for a lifetime to come! Congratulations!!!🥂🤍

20 years of laughter, joy, tears, children, illness, career changes, and adventure. The road wasn’t always as straight and smooth as it is now, but those more difficult roads we only found ourselves more connected at the end of them. Thankful for you, our life, and our love. Had so much fun photographing @livi_blais + @thewale77 beautiful fall wedding at @publickhousesturbridge last weekend. I’ve had the privilege of knowing Olivia since she was 14 when she was my student, and being able to photograph her on such a special day was full circle. As amazing as it was to photograph their day, their 13 week old golden retriever puppy Tater Tot completely stole the show. I’ve never met a better behaved boy, including my own pup. I am so happy for both of you and feel so honored to have been your photographer!! Cheers to a lifetime of happiness! xoxoxo 🥂

So excited to share a sneak from @sarah_champigny + @blawlor256 beautiful engagement session! They chose the family farm that Ben has worked at since he was a child. that warm glow and beautiful mountain view served as a stunning backdrop on the most perfect of September nights.
