Im not even sure where to begin with this beautiful family… From their engagement session, to their wedding, and now the birth of their handsome son, Theo. Theo was an early arrival, and although Renata had so many wonderful ideas for a maternity session, mother nature had other plans. Through the time they spent at the Baystate NICU, and then transitioning home as a family of three, to say this part of their lives has been busy is an understatement. Once they were finally home and settled, Renata reached out and was ready to do their family photos. Her idea? Why not take it back to where it all began and do the shoot at Watch Hill. So we went back to where we did their engagement session, and did their family session too.

Renata had expressed to me her disappointment about not being able to do the a session prior to his arrival. So we put our heads together and came up with a design for a session that would reflect her feelings as a new mother, and also oblige my creative sensibilities. The images we created were in my eyes a perfect balance of whimsical, romantic, and timeless. Their session was an adventure, just like parenthood. <3

I feel so fortunate to know you both. Watching you transform into a family has been wonderful. Your adventure of parenthood has just begun! Don’t blink! <3
