There are many memories I will carry with me from CHS as I move into my new position at Comp. The people are most definitely one of them. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jan for the last 7 years at CHS. I am sure everyone that knows her would agree that she is one of the most supportive, comical, and real people you could ever hope to meet. She’s always there to lend good advice or an objective opinion. Our students and staff love her. I truly have been so lucky to know her come to know her during my time as a Chicopee Pacer.

When Jan asked me to do a family portrait of her family I couldn’t feel more honored. She’d always talked so proudly of her family, and I felt as though I had a great responsibility to document them in a special way. Those of us who know Jan know how thoughtful and kind she is. Her family session was NO exception! She pulled out all the stops! From ‘The Morgan Bunch’ tees, to the GIANT letter M, and the chair that she had as a child for us to use with Lukas, I was so glad that she brought an arsenal of goodies for me to work with! This was a very candid session with lots of laughs, hugs, and jokes. You guys were great to work with. Even though we all felt like we were in a steam bath, there’s no other way I would want to spend my Sunday morning!! 🙂

Jan – there isn’t a thing that I will forget about my time working with you. I am certain I will feel the void next year when I move into my new home. I will miss you dearly. You have a blessed and beautiful family! Thank you so much for asking me to photograph you guys! 🙂
