From the start, working with Dan + Lauren was so effortless. They are both wonderful people, who are hard working, and love one another deeply, and with such attentiveness. They are in tune to one another, and their needs as a couple as well as individuals. Their happiness can be felt by those all around them, ever present with joy and laughter.

On their wedding day these feelings were were bright and present as they exchanged vows among the backdrop of the iconic view at the Log Cabin. Through tearful vows, and joyful moments of laughter, family and friends watched Lauren + Dan made their bond official on their beautiful fall wedding day.

These two snuggled sweetly for portraits, and shared some great laughs with us along the way. They got introduced, and the crowd erupted in cheers and joy. As they took the floor for their first dance they became enveloped in the moment, and we could all feel the tears of joy coming down our face with them. When they’d finished their song there wasn’t a dry eye in the place.

We snuck out for some beautiful golden hour portraits, that only the Log Cabin can deliver. We watched as the two quietly savored the sunset, and just being present in one another’s arms. Those slow moments of the day are perhaps one of my favorite aspects of photographing weddings. I feel that is when we can capture the essence of the individuals we photograph, and I feel so fortunate to have been able to do that for Lauren + Dan.

These two danced the night away, and Lauren even surprised Dan with a choreographed dance number with her bridesmaids! The look on happiness and pride on his face was classic. After much celebrating, Whip and Nae Nae-ing, we snuck off once again to do some sparkler photos, which was the perfect ending to a beautiful day.
