I’ve been fortunate in my life to have connected with many special souls. Many of them I have met through my teaching career. Some have been co-workers, turned mentors, turned friends. Kathryn is quite possibly all those things into one. Kathryn is actually my son’s Preschool teacher. She has become an instrumental person in our lives, guided us through some difficult waters, and always had a fun outlook on whatever challenge we thought we were facing in the rapid waters of parenting. For this, I will forever be grateful and I am so proud to be able to call her my friend.
When Kathryn asked me if I might be interested in photographing her small intimate wedding at the Smith College Botanical Gardens, I couldn’t be more thrilled. Kathryn and Kevin had chosen the summer solstice for their wedding date, and what a glorious day it was. The flowers were in bloom, the birds were chirping, and the weather was smiling gently on them. Their wedding was filled with laughter, personal touches (Just scroll through and you’ll see Homer Simpson) and amazing flowers.
Here are my favorites from their beautiful wedding!
Kathryn, we couldn’t be happier for you. You deserve ALL the happiness this world has to offer! We love you! xoxoxo CONGRATULATIONS!
