When I first met Karissa + James  I knew that we are going to be a perfect match to work together. These two are fun loving, always laughing, And Karissa is just as obsessed with her fur baby Mojo as I am with my Zamboni. I feel like when we got together for our initial meeting, we talked just as much about dogs as we did about their wedding! We talked about the little things they do, the good, the bad, and the ugly, and no matter what they do we love them no matter what. How pups are basically like children, and that we are both crazy dog moms. We are SO obviously a match made in heaven for each other, just like this awesome couple!!

Karissa + James will make it official at the idyllic Lord Jeffrey Inn, in Amherst, Massachusetts. Knowing the amazing architecture that will be available for their photos, it only seemed fitting that we choose a complementary location for their Spark Session that offers majestic views, and also show of the fall colors of New England. On this particular morning we were blessed to have some soft fog lightly lifting off the mountains, which made me SO happy. It isn’t often I get to work with the fog, but when I do I feel it can create such a beautiful collection of images. Between that and the soft morning sun, these two and their pup Mojo, we had the recipe for a perfect shoot!
