When I met Jen I knew that we had a ton of things in common. We are both creatives and teachers, so explaining my crazy vision for things I knew wouldn’t be a problem. Her family immediately made me feel welcome, and the fact that her parents build houses too – well – that was an added bonus. It isn’t often you meet someone who’s family is very much like your own, right down to the very profession. It was awesome going and seeing all their plans for the wedding, where the ceremony is going to take place, scout out some photo locations, and of course – check out all the fun construction projects going on to get ready! (Seriously, EXACTLY like my family – There’s a party happening?! Time to bust out the power tools! WE GOT THIS!! Hahaha!) Brian is a creative guy himself. Between his drumming and his passion for refinishing and restoring furniture – something I also love doing – It’s clear to see that these two will have a long life of supporting one another in their creative endeavors.
