I’ll never forget the first question Emily ever asked me. It was something to the effect of ‘Have you photographed a lot of couples with significant height differences?’. I’ve been asked a lot of questions, but honestly, never this one. Our conversation proceeded to how I would pose them by making each image look different and not the same. Some standing, sitting, and utilizing the natural landscape for posing areas, and that overall I didn’t feel it would be an issue. I must have put her mind at ease because not long after we met she chose me to be her wedding photographer – and I couldn’t have been more thrilled.
The more I got to talking with Emily I learned that she’s a teacher too, so of course we had TONS to talk about. It was fun hearing all about their wedding plans and the beautiful unique location they plan to have it at. Upon finally meeting David at the Spark Session, I knew that him and Emily are meant to be together. They are quite possibly one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met. They are kind, thoughtful, well mannered, and they love their pup Bodie. It was a riot watching him chase the horses around! (What a life!) There couldn’t have been more romantic light, beautiful wind, or a couple more in love.
Here are my favorites from their romantic Granby Spark Session!
I’m so looking forward to your August wedding! 🙂
