Colleen + T.J. | Married | The Barn at Wight Farm, Sturbridge Massachusetts

When Colleen + T.J. had initially contacted me for their wedding, I knew that their day would be filled with joy. You may remember their Spark Session that was on the most beautiful of fall days at Quabbin Reservoir. Check that out here! After photographing them and seeing their connection to one another, I was even more excited to be able to document their special day.

Come wedding day Colleen and her awesome bride tribe were energetic, and excited for the day to come! They’re fun and light attitudes made them so simple to photograph, and simple to see why Colleen chose every single one of them to stand up with her when she says I do. Her lace gown was the perfect silhouette for her, and when T.J. saw her coming down the isle with her father, he smiled from ear to ear. The two exchanged vows and after the kiss to seal the deal, they were preceded by a bagpiper, who lead Colleen + T.J. out of the church and into their new title as husband and wife.

After the ceremony we stopped along the Brinmfield Boat Ramp, where we took bridal party photos, and witnessed some of the lovely handstand moves by the guys. the girls gushed over Colleen’s dress fluffing her to perfection for her portraits with her new husband. Next we made our way to The Barn at Wight Farm, where guests were gathered and celebrating the couple at cocktail hour. Colleen + T.J. were able to join in and visit with friends, which made for some great photo ops, and time to catch up with family and friends who were in town.

After their introductions T.J. serenaded his beautiful bride during their first dance, and twirled her around the floor. They were toasted by their closest family members and friends, before dancing with their parents, and slicing into their cake. A big highlight for me was when T.J.s friends picked him up off the dance floor in a Lion King baby Simba fashion for all the guests to rejoice in his arrival. I still can’t look at that series of photos without laughing!

Their wedding day was more than spectacular. It was an energetic celebration filled with belly laughs, and happiness. Here are my favorites from their beautiful wedding day!
