I can’t tell you what a joy it is to be a photographer, meet a couple, photograph their wedding, and watch them grow into a family. I was fortunate enough to photograph Brittany and Emilio’s wedding this past summer, and now to photograph them again as they prepare for the birth of their new little boy, Liam. Brittany couldn’t be MORE excited to become a mama, a job I just know she will soar at. Emilio, proud papa, I am sure will enjoy tossing the football with Liam just as soon as he’s old enough.

We photographed this in March, in the cold, at Chicopee State Park. Knowing how much Brittany loves photography, I has a feeling she just might be willing to go outside in the cold to do the shoot. Come shoot day, like a champ, and 8 months pregnant, Brittany hiked up ANY snow mountain I asked, and skated across all icy surfaces with ease. As many of us know motherhood is quite an adventure, and her willingness to trust in my vision for her family, and sacrifice her warmth and comfort for unforgettable images only reinforced what a wonderful mom she already she is.
